Ingredents:
2 1/4 cups flour organic flour
2/3 cup canola oil
1/4 cup dark molasses
1 egg
1/2 cup sugar
2 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon powder ginger
1 teaspoon powder cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/3 cup brown sugar
pinch of salt
Per-heat oven at 350 bake cookies for 12 minutes
Directions:
In a medium size bowl beat egg , sugars, vanilla adding oil, flour, baking soda, salt and spices. Mix well.
Using your hands dusted in flour, roll cookie dough into balls. Place 2 inches a part on a cookie sheet covered with parchment paper. Molasses cookies will spread. Sprinkle with sugar. I used gold shimmer sugar.
Makes 15 large cookies or 30 small bite size cookies.
For a crunchy cookie, place cookies on a wire rack to cool.
For a chewy soft center cookie and a crunchiness outside, place cookies on wax paper to cool
